Change of opening hours of the FLAE Library from 1st October 2021

Opening hours of the Library for academic year 2021/2022

Maximum number of readers in the Main Reading Room: 80,

in the Computer Reading Room: 13

Due to the limited number of seats, the Reading Room is open only for researchers, doctoral students, students of the Faculty of Law, Administration and Economics, and post-graduate students of the Faculty of Law, Administration and Economics.

We do not issue new cards until further notice.

Read the modules in order they were published and complete the test.
Check your grade after completing the test. It can be found on the course page.
To pass the test, you must answer correctly 12 questions which is at least 80% of the questions.

Library enrolment

In order to enroll in the Library of the Faculty of Law, Administration and Economics one should:

1. fill in and send Form no. 1, preferably via Firefox browser; (https://www.bu.uni.wroc.pl/en/about-library/virtual-user-guide-subscription-to-wul)

2. After 30 minutes, come the Faculty Lending Department or the University Lending Department in order to activate the account; one need to have a passport, student card or other ID document, and student obligation card (this card can be obtained on site in the Library).

This account allows you to order books from the Faculty Library and University Library.

Worth to remember:

When ordering books from the Library, one must provide the appropriate number:

20900xxxxxx – the number of the library card to the Lending Department

30900xxxxxx – the number of the library card to the Reading Room

0900xxxxxx – the number of reader’s library account

xxxxxx – the number of the student ID card

Scanning of library materials available in the Library of Faculty of Law, Administration and Economics

The scanning service of library materials is addressed to students, doctoral students, Consulting students, postgraduate students and academic staff of the Faculty of Law, Administration and Economics:

1. Up to 50 scans (100 pages) per week are free of charge.

2. The scanning service is done with respect to the copyrights.

3. The scanning service refers to fragments of books and journals:

in case of books, please provide: catalogue number, author, title and pages; in case of multi-volume editions – the volume number;

in case of articles from the journal: catalogue number, author and title of the article, title of the journal, year, issue and pages.

4. Librarians scan only those materials that are available in the Faculty Library’s collections.

5. Before placing an order for scanning, please check on the Internet whether the necessary publications are available on an open access basis and in databases accessible through a proxy server.

6. The 100-page limit does not include tables of contents and indexes, copies of which can be ordered for identification appropriate content for copying.
