Fees for untimely return of books
Dear Readers,
We would like to inform you that according to the Regulations on Access to Collections of the Library of the Faculty of Law, Administration and Economics of the University of Wrocław dated on 19th December 2019, as on 1st May 2023, the fees for late return of books are reinstated.

Starting from the academic year 2022/23, optional library training is introduced for students of all studies and modes at the Faculty of Law, Administration and Economics of UWr.

Access to new databases - Gale Research Complete
The University of WrocÅ‚aw has been granted free access to the multidisciplinary database group Gale Research Complete. Access will last until 31 December 2023 on our University’s network and via a Proxy service.
Gale Research Complete is a large, multidisciplinary group of databases that meets the needs of academics at all levels. Among its many notable titles, Gale Research Complete includes the full-text The Economist without embargo, as well as peer-reviewed journals, millions of publications in literary criticism and literary works, more than 1,700 e-Book titles published by Gale, the Business Focussed database, and more than 400 collections of unique primary sources.

Access to Statistica software
Statistica is a toolkit for data analysis, management and visualization of data. The University of Wrocław provides an opportunity to use the Statistica Extended Academic Package and the PLUS Package as part of a special Site License multi-station academic license intended for employees, student's studios and students of the University of Wrocław.
The most important features of this license (academic license - for educational, research and teaching (non-commercial) purposes) are:
• access to the program for university employees and students also on home computers (online support for remote work/learning);
• access to free updates during the license term;
• Statistica versions: Polish and English, 32- and 64-bit;
• Polish version of specialized analytical add-ons;
• free technical support from StatSoft Polska;
• discount on StatSoft Polska training for users using Statistica under the Site License Agreement.
Trial access will last to 15.11.2024.
Installation and registration of the Statistica program is possible only for people who have an e-mail address in the University's domain: @uwr.edu.pl. To use the set of analytical modules covered by the license, you must install the latest version of Statistica and use the license installation keys. Each user should complete the registration card before installing the software.
Library enrolment
In order to enroll in the Library of the Faculty of Law, Administration and Economics one should:
1. fill in and send Form no. 1, preferably via Firefox browser; (https://www.bu.uni.wroc.pl/en/about-library/virtual-user-guide-subscription-to-wul)
2. After 30 minutes, come the Faculty Lending Department or the University Lending Department in order to activate the account; one need to have a passport, student card or other ID document, and student obligation card (this card can be obtained on site in the Library).
This account allows you to order books from the Faculty Library and University Library.
Worth to remember:
When ordering books from the Library, one must provide the appropriate number:
20900xxxxxx – the number of the library card to the Lending Department
30900xxxxxx – the number of the library card to the Reading Room
0900xxxxxx – the number of reader’s library account
xxxxxx – the number of the student ID card
